Tried out the new airbrush on a Revell Panther. Results are okay - actually quite a bit better than how it looked after the first attempt - but I have a long way to go to get nice sharp and fine lines.
Still - beats the shit out of brushing! Took a fraction of the time. This may come into play in the next installment of Operation Martell depending on German High Command...
And the last bits of my French army for Quatre Bras - artillery, Ney and Kellermann

More French cavalry and some bits for Kings of War
Here we have two more regiments of French Napoleonic cavalry in 10mm - Chasseurs and Cuirassiers, plus some bits and pieces of GW stuff for a couple of KoW armies I would like to play.
An Old-School High Elf Wizard. Love that stuff!!
Mordor siege-bow for my Isengard KoW army. More on that to come..
And the lovely 10mm Napoleonic French cavalry - back rank are cuirassiers (heavy shock dudes) and front rank are the chasseurs - most numerous and under-rated and hard-working French cavalry.

More 10mm French - Imperial Guard Lancers
Here are 5 more units towards a Quatre Bras scenario in 10mm. One regiment of Polish lancers of the Imperial Guard and 4 regiments of infantry - Magister Militum figures. They sure do paint up nice!

Goofy Owlbear
I played Kings of War at the club this week and it rekindled my interest in 28mm fantasy. My 2000 point Brotherhood army (GW Bretonnians) managed a victory against a formidable force of Salamanders (Kevin's beautiful lizardman army) by virtue of twice rolling 12s on morale checks - bloody lucky! One of those rolls held a rock hard horde of Primes up for a turn wavering and allowed my Redemption knights the opportunity to land a massive charge first.
I figure that I might need something crunchy to add to my Brotherhood force - perhaps a Forsaken Beast. I found an Owlbear model in my Reaper Bones box and tested out my new airbrush at the same time.
Pretty goofy looking model...kind of reminds me of the Jekyll and Hyde Warner Brothers cartoons from when I was a kid.

Highland warband
I've been out of town for much of the last week and stupid-busy at work, so progress this month has been pretty slow. Managed to knock off a small warband of highland impetuous foot for Lion Rampant if I ever get time to play a game again. Tried my hand at some tartan with mixed results.

Sassanid commanders and some more modern microarmour
I have now completed my Sassanid army with these two command stands - very handsome fellas if I do say so myself. Also, I competed some more modern microarmour for Team Yankee. These are by CinC and include some Bradleys in forest green (new to theatre for mid 80s), M113s in MERDC camo, Soviet BMP-1s and some lovely BM-21s - capable of laying down some serious hurt from a distance!
