Knocked off two more brigades of French 10mm Napoleonic infantry this week. I think these are Magister Militum but might be Pendraken - not sure since they came loose in a job lot.

Soviet BT-5s
Did a small batch of 10mm Minifigs BT-5s for a Battle Group Kursk game I'd like to host at the club next week. I picked
these up in a job lot a few years back and finally put paint on them.

Soviet T-72 company
This weekend I did a company of Team Yankee 15mm T-72s - inspired after re-reading Tom Clancy's Red Storm Rising and reading First Clash by Kenneth Macksey for the first time during the past two weeks while I was traveling for work. I'm stoked to do the 4th CMBG when it comes out! I am also looking forward to the publication of Battlegroup Northag expected later this year to play out the scenarios from the book.
The Battlefront T-72s are great - easy plastic kits and I like that you can swap out CE or buttoned up versions, and the ability to fit some of them with mine plows (these feature prominently in Macksey's book).
Secretly - I am also curious about how many hits my blog will get courtesy of the Russian bots with this topic in the title...
I also diddled with my airbrush on some StugIIIs in 1/72.

Western Desert microarmour
I've had a lot of refurbished microarmour sitting by my bench for months - well I decided to get it done.
Here is a whack of Bishop SP guns, Shermans, Matildas and some Stuarts that I picked up in a big job lot. I stripped them all and repainted them in a very light stone with faded caunter on the Stuarts.
I am also doing some infantry and couldn't decide whether to do classic faded khaki-beige or wool uniform. So there are a couple of test stands in the pictures. What do you think?

Terminator Genisys and Superbowl
How are these things related you ask? Today I finished off my Terminator Genisys starter box with resistance troopers and endos. I picked the game up for a bargain 20 pounds over the holidays from Warlord using some of my Xmas dosh - its actually a very good ruleset and at that price a total bargain.
I think the models are pretty good but these pictures are terribly overexposed
And what does this have to do with the Superbowl? Well, I am a Pats fan and today they just kept coming back - like a Terminator.... unbelievable game!!!!

Austrian infantry
I'm reading a very good book about the battle of Aspern-Essling called "The Battle" by Rambaud
which has inspired me to dig back into my 10mm Napoleonic collection and work towards an 1809 scenario for Blucher or CCN. So here they are, 3 units of Pendraken and a unit of Old Glory. Not hard to tell which are which - one of the Pendraken units with the white flag are converged grenadiers.
