Early war allies in 1/72 & 1/35

I worked my way through a Tamiya 1/35 Chenillette over the last couple of weeks which was fun to build (great kit!) and something different for a change. This was a Christmas present last year.

I also completed an Airfix Matilda in 1940 colour scheme, and a couple of Lorraine 37L carriers and an R-35 tank in 20mm by RAFM. I did these to play around with my airbrush and try to get the tone I wanted for the Chenillette (Vallejo brown violet). I didn't do multi-colour camo on the R-35 so it could stand-in for models in service with other countries.

  2. Thanks! It's a lovely kit.

Last Christmas, the missus asked me what kind of new toy I wanted. I told her a plastic model kit of something from the early part of WW2, funny looking with lots of rivets.

The guys at the hobby store were on their game and suggested this one - and it was perfect!
